Project Grantsmanship

Formed to strengthen Los Angeles County community-based organizations by training nonprofit leaders to plan more effective programs and produce compelling proposals for funding.

Project Grantsmanship is a partnership of the Annenberg Foundation, the California Community Foundation, the Dwight Stuart Youth FundThe Grantsmanship Center, the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation and the S. Mark Taper Foundation, formed to strengthen Los Angeles County community-based organizations by training nonprofit leaders to plan more effective programs and produce compelling proposals for funding.

Project Grantsmanship’s partner foundations underwrite up to 90 percent of the tuition for eligible nonprofit leaders to attend The Grantsmanship Center’s five-day Grantsmanship Training Program. The $1,195 cost for the training program is subsidized so that each participant will pay $200 or $300, depending on the size of the organization.

Participants gain essential knowledge and skills in all aspects of program planning, proposal writing, finding appropriate funders and working with funders as partners.

Project Grantsmanship is run by The Grantmanship Center.  To learn more, please visit their website. Questions and requests for additional information regarding Project Grantsmanship should be directed to The Grantsmanship Center.
